One of the fun things about eating fresh and seasonal produce is figuring how to prepare it.  But sometimes that can be challenging too.  Some of our favorite tips and recipes from our kitchen as well as from CSA members, family, and friends are compiled below.  Most are very basic and simple.  Others may require a trip to the store to pick up a few ingredients.

Keeping the following things on hand makes it relatively easy to pull together a meal in a pinch:

Olive oil   *   Sesame oil   *   Balsamic and/or Red wine vinegar   *   Eggs   *  Garlic   *  Onions   *   Lemon   *  Soy sauce   *   Frozen pie crust   *  Prepared pizza dough   *  Vegetable or chicken broth   *   Honey   *   A variety of cheeses   *  Nuts   *   Dried pasta   *   Couscous
