Skylight Farms, situated on the banks of the beautiful Snohomish River, was started by Jonathan and Petrina Fisher in late 2012. In the search to do something meaningful, we left our desk jobs and decided to grow the kind of food that should be on every table. Sustainable. Ecological. Ethical.
Our food is grown with a commitment to preserving our natural environment and enhancing our community.
Since we started, we have experienced all the woes and joys that a farm can bring. From our well running dry and an 80 foot tree falling on our power lines to securing our first sales and seeing our food on the menus of restaurants. There is nothing quite as empowering and humbling as growing your own food. We hope to inspire more people to eat with the seasons and support our local food economy.
