This is what 10,000 bees looks like. We have three of these boxes containing two different kinds of bees: italians and carniolans. The hives have been prepped and there is plenty of sugary syrup on hand for them to feast on. These little guys will be moving into their new accomodations very soon. I’m a little a lot nervous about getting them into the hives since I’ve never done this before. My biggest fear, though, is having things go wrong and ending up with thousands of dead bees. In the right conditions bees will supposedly take care of themselves. Let’s hope that’s the case!
